Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: September 1, 2026
North Coast & Pine (“North Coast & Pine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) wants customers and clients to understand the terms of a purchase before completing a transaction. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when payments may be refunded, credited, transferred, or considered nonrefundable.
By purchasing a product, enrolling in a course, booking a service, or submitting payment to North Coast & Pine, you acknowledge and agree to this policy and any additional terms presented at the time of purchase or included in a signed client agreement.
Scope of This Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies only to products, courses, and services purchased directly through northcoastpine.com or invoiced directly by North Coast & Pine.
Purchases completed through Stan Store or another third-party website, marketplace, course platform, or payment provider may be governed by the refund and cancellation policy presented on that platform at the time of purchase. When another policy applies, requests must be submitted according to that platform’s procedures and terms.
Links from northcoastpine.com to products, courses, or services offered through a third-party platform do not make those purchases subject to this policy.
Custom Services and Client Projects
Custom services may include website design and development, branding, consulting, strategy, technology setup, digital support, creative services, and other project-based work.
Unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement:
-
Deposits, retainers, and initial project payments are nonrefundable because they reserve time on our schedule and allow work to begin.
-
Payments for services already performed are nonrefundable.
-
If a project is canceled after work begins, the client is responsible for all work completed and expenses incurred through the cancellation date.
-
If advance payments exceed the value of the completed work and applicable expenses, any remaining balance will be handled according to the signed client agreement.
-
Completed services are not eligible for a refund based solely on a change of mind, change in business direction, or failure to use the completed work.
-
Delays caused by missing content, approvals, feedback, access credentials, or other requested materials from the client do not create a right to a refund.
Project-specific payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and termination terms included in a signed proposal or service agreement will control if they differ from this general policy.
Digital Products
Digital products may include templates, guides, workbooks, files, downloads, design resources, recordings, or other electronically delivered materials.
Because customers receive access to digital products immediately or shortly after purchase, digital product sales are final and nonrefundable.
Requests involving an access or technical issue must be submitted within seven calendar days of purchase. Please include your name, order information, and a description of the issue. We will attempt to replace the file, restore access, or resolve the technical problem.
A digital product is not eligible for a refund because a customer changed their mind, no longer needs the product, lacks the software or equipment needed to use it, or did not review the product description or technical requirements before purchasing.
Self-Paced Digital Courses
Purchases of self-paced courses, prerecorded programs, resource libraries, and other immediately accessible educational content are final and nonrefundable.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents access, please contact us within seven calendar days of purchase. We will make reasonable efforts to restore access and resolve technical issues.
A course is not eligible for a refund based on a participant’s failure to begin or complete the course, scheduling conflicts, change of mind, or dissatisfaction resulting from personal expectations that were not included in the course description.
Live Digital Courses and Workshops
Unless different terms are displayed at registration:
-
A cancellation made at least fourteen calendar days before the scheduled start date may qualify for a refund.
-
Cancellations made fewer than fourteen calendar days before the start date are nonrefundable.
-
Failure to attend a live course, workshop, or scheduled session does not qualify for a refund.
-
Registration may be transferred to another eligible participant with advance written notice and our approval.
If North Coast & Pine cancels a live course or workshop and does not provide a reasonable rescheduled date or comparable alternative, registered participants will receive a refund of the amount paid directly to North Coast & Pine.
Payment Plans
A payment plan is a commitment to pay the full purchase price in installments. It is not a subscription that may be canceled simply by discontinuing participation or use.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, withdrawing from a course, program, or service does not automatically cancel remaining installment payments. Any request to end a payment plan will be evaluated according to this policy and the terms presented at purchase.
Subscriptions and Recurring Services
If North Coast & Pine offers a subscription, membership, or recurring service, the price,
billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions will be disclosed before purchase.
You may cancel future renewals according to the cancellation method provided with the subscription. Cancellation stops future eligible charges but does not ordinarily provide a refund for a billing period that has already begun.
Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next scheduled billing date. We cannot guarantee a refund when a cancellation request is received after a renewal payment has been processed.
Promotional Offers and Discounted Purchases
Products, courses, and services purchased through a sale, promotional offer, limited-time discount, or coupon remain subject to this Refund and Cancellation Policy unless different terms were clearly provided with the offer.
A later price reduction or promotional offer does not entitle a previous purchaser to a partial refund or price adjustment.
Processing Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method. Processing times vary by financial institution and payment provider.
Original transaction fees or other amounts that are not returned to North Coast & Pine by a payment processor may be deducted from a refund where permitted by law and disclosed before purchase.
North Coast & Pine is not responsible for exchange-rate differences, bank fees, or other charges imposed by a customer’s financial institution.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the concern.
Nothing in this section limits a customer’s lawful right to dispute an unauthorized, fraudulent, or otherwise improper charge.
Exceptions Required by Law
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any refund, cancellation, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived. If applicable law grants you additional rights, those rights will apply.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect changes to our products, services, or legal obligations. The policy that was in effect on the date of purchase will generally apply to that transaction unless otherwise required by law.
